Ross Kemp made a very interesting documentary on London's violent gangs, and every one in England is aware of the knife crime crisis.
Where I live, on an estate in South East London (Se18), I often see thuggish looking youngsters loitering around with their cigarettes and bikes. Some of them have dogs, threatening bulls, which look less like pets and more like weapons.
I've lived here for 8 years, I know some of those kids, they grew up with my brother and sister, before my parents moved outside of London (and I stayed behind).
I've heard what was said on the news, and Kemp's opinion... but I can't help but think that some young people adhere to a culture they feel they belong too, without participating in the evils of that culture.
Could the guy in the photo be grooming this dog to be a ruthless killer? Or is he just taking care of his new puppy?
